Miss Representation  March 25  6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Sperry Hall SUNY Cortland.  Collaborating with Women’s Studies Program.  Describes how the media focuses on girl’s and women’s appearance, rather than their abilities.

A Path Appears    April 29  6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Cortland Community Center.  Collaborating with the Board of Directors of the Community Center.  Discusses human trafficking in America, and describes successful programs for women who want to change their circumstances.

The Invisible War    May 21 6:00 to 8:00 pm.   Cortland YWCA.  Collaborating with AVV.  Informs us of the patterns of sexual assault female soldiers encounter while in the military.

Gen Silent   June 25  6:00 to 8:00   203 Beard Building.  Collaborating with Cortland LGBT Resource Center.  Illustrates the lives of people in a gay partnership, one of whom requires nursing home care.   Discusses the issue of confidentiality, and social acceptance.

The Suicide Traveler  July 8  6:00 to 8:00  The Beard Building.  Follows a man with a terminal illness accessing his right to die, and his wife’s experience as caregiver.

Pride July 22  6:00 to 8:00.  The Beard Building.   This is not a documentary.  The characters in the film depict people in a gay, and in a straight community, and how they can support each other.

Telling Amy’s Story  August 19   6:00 to 8:00.  The YWCA.   This story is told from the point of view of the police who covered the events of Amy’s repeated domestic abuse to her death.

The Mask You Live In  Date, Time, and Location to be determined.  Documents the social pressure boys and men endure to be macho, powerful and violent.

Iron Jawed Angels  September 30 6:00 to 8:00  at the YWCA.  Recounts the story of what women endured to win the right to vote.
